Dear colleagues,

We invite you to contribute to the Journal of the Optical Society of
America A (JOSA A) Feature Issue on Color Vision, featuring the
frontiers of color vision research in both foundational science and
innovative applications.

This Feature Issue is based on research presented at the 2024
Symposium of the International Colour Vision Society (ICVS) taking
place 5-9 July in Ljubljana, Slovenia. While meeting participants are
particularly encouraged to submit their work, this Feature Issue is
open to all contributions in related areas, including but not limited
to:

•              Perception and psychophysics

•              Physiology and anatomy

•              Functional imaging

•              Genetics

•              Color-vison deficiencies
