Reducing Bias in Academic Hiring

We are running a study to examine how to reduce bias in the evaluation of candidates for faculty positions. We will ask you to complete an online survey in which you will assess and rank-order two job candidates based on information typically provided by applicants for a tenure track position. The entire experiment should take around 45 min to complete.

We will donate $35 to one of the following charities for every US neuroscience faculty member (we realize many neuroscience researchers are not in neuroscience departments) who completes the experiment.
