Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the Call for Workshops and Tutorials for the
2025 ACM Symposium on Eye Tracking Research & Applications (ETRA), to be
held in Tokyo, Japan, from May 26-29, 2025. ETRA 2025 aims to bring
together researchers and practitioners from diverse fields to advance eye
tracking research.
CALL FOR WORKSHOPS

We invite proposals for workshops that will provide focused venues for
presenting specialized research and fostering discussions on emerging
challenges in eye tracking. Workshops can be either full-day (6 hours) or
half-day (3 hours).
Important Dates (AoE/Anywhere on Earth):
- Workshop proposals due: January 6th, 2025
- Notifications of acceptance: January 20th, 2025
- Workshop webpage online: January 31st, 2025
Workshop formats may include:
- Mini-conferences on specialized topics
- Practical and panel-based workshops
- Project-centric workshops
- Mini-competitions or hackathons
Workshop proceedings will be published in the ACM Digital Library as part
of the ETRA Workshop Proceedings. Submissions should be maximum 6 pages
(ACM single column template) and must be submitted via PCS to the ETRA 2025
Workshop track.

We welcome proposals for tutorials that will serve as platforms for sharing
theoretical knowledge and practical experiences within the eye-tracking
community. Tutorials can be either full-day (6 hours) or half-day (3 hours).
Important Dates (AoE/Anywhere on Earth):
- Tutorial proposals due: January 6th, 2025
- Notifications of acceptance: January 24th, 2025
- Tutorial website online: February 7th, 2025
Tutorials should address topics relevant to:
- Practitioners learning about eye-tracking technologies
- Novices seeking introductory knowledge
- Industry representatives interested in practical applications
Tutorial proposals should be maximum 3 pages (ACM single column template)
and submitted via PCS to the ETRA 2025 Tutorials track.
For both workshops and tutorials, detailed submission guidelines, including
required proposal content and formatting instructions, can be found on the
ETRA 2025 website. Accepted proposals will be required to maintain their
own websites with detailed information about content, schedule, and
organization.
We strongly encourage submissions from diverse perspectives and
backgrounds. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth
and development of the eye tracking research community.
