Subject: Scientific Research: PhD studentship – Job offer

A PhD studentship in the project "AI.EVENTS: Monitor Live Audience with AI" is available at the Visual Computing Lab (NOVA LINCS) [https://sites.google.com/view/visual-computing-lab/] at the University of the Algarve in Portugal.
Objectives of the work: (a) develop a model for the detection of abnormal behaviour in crowds using computer vision; (b) Develop a model for detecting engagement in events using computer vision; (c) support the research and development of the software necessary for the project AI.EVENTS.
Call is open: from 21/03/2025 to 07/04/2025.
Working place: University of the Algarve, Institute of Engineering, NOVA LINCS, Visual Computing lab., Campus da Penha, Faro, Portugal
