*Summay*. This project aims to compare structural aspects of the visual
system of snakes with behavioral responses to different stimuli, as well as
to compare visual acuity values estimated based on anatomical data of the
eyes with those obtained through direct measurements based on optokinetic
responses.

Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. within the past 7 years in
biological sciences or related fields, with an emphasis on visual
neuroscience. Priority will be given to candidates with prior experience in
behavioral studies and handling of snakes, as well as morphological
analyses of the retina. Experience in data analysis and scientific writing
is also required.

*Benefits*:

- Postdoctoral fellowship of R$ 12,000.00 per month for 2 years.

- Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual fellowship amount, to
cover research-related expenses.
