Dear colleagues,

We are happy to announce a great lineup of keynote, focal, and summer
school speakers at *London Imaging Meeting 2025*, which will take place
in London, UK, on September 8-10, 2025, under the overall theme of
"*Lighting and Imaging*," see below.

The second good news is that based on requests from procrastinating
prospective authors, Sophie Jost and I have decided to extend the
submission deadline to May 31.

Therefore we now reach out to you to encourage you to submit a paper
based on your recent research, within a broad range of topics related to
lighting and imaging for instance *Colour and Vision*, and *Physics and
Measurement*.

See  the attached CFP and https://iop.eventsair.com/lim-2025 for more
information about topics of interests and how to submit.

*Summer School lecturers:*

  * *Lou Gevaux*: Radiometry, photometry and colour science for lighting
  * *Raphaël Labayrade*: Light transport simulation: materials, lights,
    algorithms and software
  * *Michael Murdoch*: Spectral systems and colors
  * *Raimondo Schettini*: Illuminant Estimation and Correction in Color
    Imaging Workflows

*Keynote Speakers:*

  * *Robin Wang*: Reluctantly starting a hyperspectral camera company: a
guide to the terrors of the start-up world
  * *Anya Hurlbert*: Does perceiving the illumination have anything to
    do with colour constancy?
  * *Michael Murdoch*: The Convergence of Lighting and Imaging

*Focal Speakers*

  * *Claudio Guarnera*: Lighting Beneath the Surface: Spectral and
    PolarisedCues for Next-Generation Facial Imaging
  * *Andrew Stockman*: Individualized Colorimetry for Correcting
Observer Metamerism Failures in Narrow Band Displays and Lighting
  * *Lou Gevaux*: Metrological challenges in HDR imaging for luminance
    measurement
  * *Raimondo Schettini*: Object Color Relighting with Progressively
    Decreasing Information

Looking forward to seeing your papers and hopefully meeting in London!

All the best,

Jon
