Please join us for the Computational Cognitive Neuroscience 2025 Satellite Event: From Child to Machine Learning and back, on Monday, August 11 | 3:00–6:00 pm | Roetersstraat 11, Room A2.11 | Amsterdam, the day before CCN.
How can insights from child development improve how we train neural networks and vice versa?
Join us for an interactive workshop exploring how principles from human cognitive development- like staged learning, brain-like architectural constraints, and developmental evaluation metrics - can inspire more efficient and human-like learning in AI systems, and offer new insights into human learning processes.
Speakers include: Denis Mareschal, Bria Long, Lukas Vogelsang, Zejin Lu/Sushrut Thorat, Aine Dineen, Steven Scholte, Tessa Dekker.
With expert talks, breakout sessions, and a panel discussion, this event brings together developmental psychologists, neuroscientists, and AI researchers to build bridges between child learning and machine learning.
