[visionlist] Future research opportunities available at the Rochester Institute of Technology

I have recently started a new research lab at RIT and am embarking on an exciting research program investigating the human visual system. I am looking for talented and motivated scientists to join my lab—either at the graduate student or postdoc level!

In my lab, I will study the human visual system using behavioral, computational, and optical imaging methods. Currently, I aim to understand the mechanisms underlying visual accommodation (the act of focusing the lens in the eye) in order to improve display technologies. I am looking for candidates with backgrounds in Optics, Vision Science, Neuroscience, or related fields. Experience building optical systems or conducting vision experiments with human participants is highly desirable, as well as strong communication skills.
