AIMed is built around a central question facing healthcare today:
How can artificial intelligence move from promising code to tools that genuinely support clinical care in a safe, meaningful, and accountable way?
This is a joint initiative developed by scholars from the Department of Medicine at McMaster University, the Big Data Institute at the University of Oxford, the Polish Institute for Evidence Based Medicine (PIEBM), and the Interdisciplinary Health Data Center of the Jagiellonian University Medical College.
We created an international platform designed to build real bridges between technology, clinical practice, and regulation - bringing together clinicians, researchers, data scientists, industry leaders, and policymakers working on real-world AI applications.
As part of this broader AIMed initiative, I warmly encourage you to consider participating in this year’s unique conference, which will take place in Kraków, Poland, on 7–9 May 2026. It features an outstanding programme, and we have now opened the submission system for the Call for Abstracts.
We now invite submissions of original research across two tracks:
Track A – Clinical & Translational Research: AI/ML studies focused on real-world clinical implementation and outcomes.
Track B – Technical & Methodological Research: AI/ML algorithm development and data science innovations with clinical potential.
All accepted abstracts will be published in a Book of Abstracts, produced in collaboration with BMJ Digital Health & AI.
This is not just another conference!
To see our exciting programme, register and submit your work visit our website: www.aimedicine.one<http://www.aimedicine.one/>.
Beyond the main event, AIMed will host workshops, tutorials, and collaborative activities throughout the year so feel free to join our newsletter !
