We invite you to submit your work to the *2027 Human Vision and Electronic
Imaging (HVEI) conference*, taking place *January 24–27, 2027* at the Hyatt
Regency San Francisco Airport in Burlingame, California.

*Key Deadlines:*

   - *Journal-first (JPI/JIST):* August 16, 2026
   - *Proceeding-first & Abstract-first:* September 28, 2026

HVEI is an interdisciplinary forum exploring the role of human perception
and cognition in electronic media — spanning display technologies,
AI-driven imaging, and immersive environments.

*Topics include:*

   - Human perception & cognition (spatial, temporal, color, stereo)
   - Multisensory interaction (visual, auditory, haptic, olfactory)
   - Perceptually-based algorithms (quality metrics, compression, rendering)
   - Visual cognition (attention, saliency, visual search)
   - Quality of experience, aesthetics & emotion
   - Emerging technologies (AR/VR, HDR, WCG, HFR, medical imaging, AI)
   - Perception & art

*Why HVEI?* A smaller, focused community means substantive engagement with
researchers genuinely active in your subfield — real feedback that shapes
your next steps.

Submissions should address the scientific problem, methodology, novelty,
and preliminary results. We welcome full proceedings papers and 1,000-word
structured abstracts (~2 pages).
