Postdoc in Computational Vision of Body Perception

We are looking for a postdoctoral associate to work with an interdisciplinary team to develop and test “image-computable” models of visual perception of human body form and pose. The NIH funded project “Towards a Compositional Generative Model of Human Vision” is led by Dan Kersten working with colleagues Steve Engel, Sheng He, and Cheryl Olman at Minnesota and Alan Yuille at Johns Hopkins University. The project combines behavioral, neuroimaging, computer vision, and machine learning approaches to understand how the human visual system interprets human body form given natural image input. The position is for an initial appointment of one year
with the possibility of renewal depending on satisfactory performance. This position will remain open until filled. Informal questions regarding this position can be sent to Dan Kersten: kersten at umn.edu <mailto:kersten at umn.edu>. Instructions on how to apply can be found at: https://hr.myu.umn.edu/jobs/ext/333808 <https://hr.myu.umn.edu/jobs/ext/333808>
