[visionlist] Call for papers: JoVE methods collection issue on vision

We would like to solicit submissions for a methods collection issue of JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) on the topic of “Current Methods in Vision Research”.


This issue will cover current research methods in all aspects of vision, broadly defined:

* Visual perception and visually guided action in biological systems, including psychophysics, neurophysiology, neuroimaging, and neuropsychology

* Functional organization of the visual system at all levels, including molecular and cellular biology of the visual system, visual development, histology, and neuroanatomy of the visual system

* Multisensory processing (i.e., integration of visual information with other sensory information in biological systems)

* Visual impairment and dysfunction

* Visual prostheses.


The deadline for submitting *abstracts* is August 31, 2021. Invited full submissions will be reviewed and published on a rolling basis.
