 Colleagues,

I want to share about a Bridge2AI research training program available that are now open for applications. Links to webpage describing the program are below, and I've also attached flyers for easy review and forwarding. Eligibility requirements and application forms are included in the links as well.
AI Ready and Equitable Atlas for Diabetes Insights (AI-READI) Yearlong Research Internship Program: https://shileyeye.ucsd.edu/research/ai_readi  (July 2023-June 2024)

The  AI-READI program  has broader eligibility and is a yearlong program that can be done as a gap year (between college and med /grad school, within med school, as a postdoc, etc.). The AI-READI program is part of a larger Bridge2AI project led by Aaron Lee at UW and involves faculty participation from across the country, not just at UCSD.

The application deadline for both programs is December 16, Applicants from groups traditionally underrepresented in research are especially encouraged to apply.
