Quality Assurance and Technical Support position at VPixx Technologies

Would you like to help neuroscience researchers use innovative experiment control software?  Are you an organized, detail-oriented individual who can help assure the quality of this new software?  VPixx Technologies is seeking a new member for our growing software development and technical support teams.  Our current LabMaestro software suite includes three functionalities:
                1) Builder, graphical interface for designing and running experiments
                2) Simulator, for developing experiments with emulated VPixx hardware
                3) Pack&Go, for running PsychToolbox experiments targeting online subjects

Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the first point of contact for researchers who require assistance using the new software.
- Moderating a newly created online forum dedicated to software users.
- Execute comprehensive quality assurance test plans of each major software release to validate product functionality.
- Collaborating with software developers to validate new features, verify bug fixes and ensure product stability.

Requirements:
- Excellent English communication skills, as we serve the international research community.
- Commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- Qualified applicants should have a bachelor's degree in Psychology, computer science, or a related field.
- The ideal applicant will be familiar with research methods and experimental design principles in psychology, or related sciences.
- Experience with a ticketing system and documentation platform is a plus (eg: Jira, Confluence, Wiki, etc.)

This is a permanent full-time position located on the beautiful South Shore of Montreal.  Our offices are in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, a picturesque town beside Mount-Saint-Bruno national park.
